一、課前熱身(Warm-up)
1. Free talk
T: Good morning, everyone. Welcome back to school. How are you today?

T: I’m fine, too. Are you ready for our class?

2. 熱身活動
T: Now let’s do some warming-up practice. All of you, listen to me, please. Stand up and follow me. Run, I can run (read, jump, swim, fly, clean, draw …).
二、課前預(yù)習(xí)(Preview)
學(xué)習(xí)歌曲“What can you do?”
T: You can jump, run, swim … You’re so great. Now let’s learn a song called “What can you do?”.
第一次播放歌曲錄音，全班學(xué)生跟著錄音唱歌曲。
第二次播放歌曲錄音，全班學(xué)生分男女比賽唱歌曲。
三、新課呈現(xiàn)(Presentation)
1. A. Let’s learn
(1) 學(xué)習(xí)新單詞和詞組。
創(chuàng)設(shè)“考藝校”情景：“明星藝�！眮韺W(xué)校招生啦!很多學(xué)生報名參加考試，讓我們來看看同學(xué)們都表演些什么才藝吧!
教師用課件依次出示跳舞、唱英文歌曲、彈琵琶、練功夫和畫漫畫的情景，引出新單詞和詞組，并將其寫在黑板上。

(1) 學(xué)生在四人小組內(nèi)用句型“What can you do?”和“Who can …?”相互調(diào)查其他小組成員會做的.事情。
(2) 請兩三位小組代表上講臺匯報小組成員會做的事情。
四、鞏固延伸(Consolidation & Extension)
1. 教師表演動作，學(xué)生快速說出相應(yīng)的單詞或詞組。
2. 教師請幾位學(xué)生上講臺，依次指著學(xué)生問“What can he / she do?”，學(xué)生回答：“He / She can …”。

Warmer:
1. Stick the pictures of unit 1 on the board. Have the students come to the front and mime the text of unit 1.
2. Say a sentence in the present tense and get the students say it in the past tense.
Examples:
T: Daming goes to New York.
Ss: Daming went to New York.
T: Grandma meets Daming.
Ss: Gradma met Daming.
Teach the text:
1. Raise the picture of the Statue of Liberty and ask: What is it ? Where is it?”
Guide the students say: It’s the statue of Liberty. It’s in New York”.
T: Daming is in New York now. Let’s see who met him at the airport. What he saw in New York and What food he wanted to eat.
2. Play the tape. Have the students listen and underline the new words in books.
3. Teach the new words.
