　　General Introduction

　　I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.

　　Education background

　　In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.

　　At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of Excellent Graduation Thesis.

　　Research experience and academic activity

　　When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

　　In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

　　我是一個第三年掌握自動化主要在上海交通大學(xué)，中國。懷著對工業(yè)工程的巨大興趣，我寫信申請接受你的博士研究生課程。

　　教育背景

　　1995，我進入了南京大學(xué)的科學(xué)與技術(shù)（文）被廣泛認為是中國最好的工程學(xué)校。在接下來的本科學(xué)習(xí)中，我的學(xué)習(xí)成績一直保持在整個部門中。我每學(xué)期都獲得一等獎，1999，我有幸進入了研究生課程，放棄了入學(xué)考試。

　　在我的研究生學(xué)習(xí)期間，我的總平均成績（3.77 / 4）在該部排在前5%名。在第二學(xué)期，我成為了老師助理，只給有天賦和成熟的學(xué)生。這一年，我獲得了宏碁獎學(xué)金作為唯一的候選人在我的部門，這是杰出學(xué)生賦予我的大學(xué)的最高榮譽。目前，我正在準備畢業(yè)論文，并努力獲得優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)論文的.榮譽。

　　研究經(jīng)驗與學(xué)術(shù)活動

　　大學(xué)二年級時，我加入了AI愛好者協(xié)會，開始縮小我對未來研究的興趣。利用opengl和matlab工具，設(shè)計了運輸調(diào)度系統(tǒng)仿真程序。現(xiàn)在不同的研究小組在學(xué)院廣泛應(yīng)用。本人承擔并完成了南京污水處理廠污水分析處理工程。這是我第一次將實驗室理念轉(zhuǎn)變成商業(yè)產(chǎn)品。

　　回顧過去，我發(fā)現(xiàn)自己站在堅實的理論和經(jīng)驗基礎(chǔ)上，為我的博士課程做好了準備。未來的研究方向包括：網(wǎng)絡(luò)調(diào)度問題，啟發(fā)式算法研究（特別是在GA和神經(jīng)網(wǎng)絡(luò)），供應(yīng)鏈網(wǎng)絡(luò)研究，混雜系統(tǒng)性能分析，petri網(wǎng)和數(shù)據(jù)挖掘。

　　It is really my honor to have this opportunity for an interview,I hope i can make a good performance today. I'm confident that I can succeed.

　　Now i will introduce myself briefly

　　I am 26 years old,born in shandong province .

　　I was graduated from qingdao university. my major is electronic.and i got my bachelor degree after my graduation in the year of xx. I spend most of my time on study,i have passed CET4/6 . and i have acquired basic knowledge of my major during my school time.

　　In July xx, I began work for a small private company as a technical support engineer in QingDao city.Because I'm capable of more responsibilities, so I decided to change my job.

　　And in August xx,I left QingDao to BeiJing and worked for a foreign enterprise as a automation software test engineer.Because I want to change my working environment, I'd like to find a job which is more challenging. Morover Motorola is a global company, so I feel I can gain the most from working in this kind of company

　　ennvironment. That is the reason why I come here to compete for this position.

　　I think I'm a good team player and I'm a person of great honesty to others. Also I am able to work under great pressure.

　　在八月二十日，我離開青島去了北京，在一家外企做自動化軟件測試工程師，因為我想改變我的工作環(huán)境，我想找一份更有挑戰(zhàn)性的工作。摩托羅拉是一家全球化公司，所以我覺得我能在這樣的公司中工作會有最大的`收獲
