你們好!我是xx師范大學(xué)外語學(xué)院英語系xx級一名學(xué)生，即將于明年七月完成本科學(xué)業(yè)，真正地步入社會，開始人生新一段征程。
上大學(xué)后，我最鄭重地告訴自己一句話是：學(xué)通你專業(yè)，利用它為你人生開辟道路。于是我以交際英語為方向，首先側(cè)重于打好基礎(chǔ)，從聽、說、讀、寫幾方面訓(xùn)練基本技能，在達到自如地運用英語基礎(chǔ)上，我涉獵了英美概況、英美文學(xué)、語言學(xué)等相關(guān)專業(yè)知識。同時，我還自學(xué)了部分經(jīng)貿(mào)英語知識，這些努力不僅使我專業(yè)水平每年都有相應(yīng)提高，而且擴展了視野、豐富了頭腦，并使我于大二時以良好成績通過了英語專業(yè)四級考試，還將于明年三月參加專業(yè)八級測試。
深知語言交際作用重應(yīng)性，我特別注重學(xué)以致用。除了積極地、有選擇地參加院、校組織活動外，我還時常參加英語角，陪同外國訪問團，翻譯一些資料，在課外輔導(dǎo)班做兼職教師等。這讓我有機會結(jié)交了很多朋友，豐富了閱歷，而且感到生活更加充實。
我沒有任何引人注目特長，也不善于領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人，所以三年多來只是通過盡心盡職地學(xué)習(xí)和工作而得到了大家認(rèn)可，但有一點我絕對可以保證，了解我人也定會認(rèn)可，那就是只應(yīng)我接手事，我一定會付出百分之百精力去做好，憑著這股勁兒和幾年來知識經(jīng)驗，我第一次試講被指導(dǎo)教師作為典范講評，我在今年九月實習(xí)中獲得優(yōu)異成績。
大學(xué)四年里，有收獲也有遺憾，但欣慰是，這些經(jīng)歷使我學(xué)會了冷靜、執(zhí)著，使我變得愈加獨立、堅韌;教我學(xué)會在人生坐標(biāo)上尋找適合自己位置，并不斷調(diào)整和完善自我;更讓我意識到應(yīng)勇于在人生不同階段迎接新挑戰(zhàn)。所以當(dāng)又一次走到人生十字路口時，我誠摯地希望能加入你們這群充滿生命力、競爭力和挑戰(zhàn)力精英當(dāng)中，在各方英才領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和幫助下，為企業(yè)再度發(fā)展和騰飛推波助瀾!

i have learned from jobspower.com on 29 may, XXXX that there is a vacancy in your firm, and i wish to apply for the position. i am a graduate of hong kong polytechnics, class of 1996. for the last four years i have been working as a salesman for hong kong trading company, and i an just quitting that firm in a few days.
enclosed you will please find a letter of recommendation from my present employer who appreciates my performance very much but have to let me go, for his firm is going to be closed. while working with hong kong trading company, i have a good chance to know all the leading chemical product manufactures in this area. my connections bulit with them in the past may employ me as a salesman. i am sure that these manufacturers would equally welcome my service if i work for you.
