      英語的即興演講稿1

      Dear teacher and classmates:

I am very glad to make a speech here in this class again! This time, I'd like to talk something about English.

I love English. English language is now used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.

When I was seven, my mother sent me to an English school. At there, I played games and sang English songs with other children . Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.

Everyday, I read English following the tapes. Sometimes, I watch English cartoons.

On the weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talking with different people there, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English.

I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington Monument, because the president Washington is my idol. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very happy. I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. I'll introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Anshan.

I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well.

If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too.

        Ladies and gentlemen,

Good afternoon !Today the topic of my speech is “Discover myself”.

I think each people is unique.Everyone is different .I don’t need to envy others, because I think I am the only one in the world. So do u really know yourself? In my parents’eyes,I am a naughty boy. In my friends’ eyes, I am a friendly boy.In my teachers’eyes,I am a boy which progresses. But how do I think of myself?I don’t know.

Everone has merits and shortcomings. we need to discover our disadvantages and get rid of it . However, Lookers-on see most often. So mentors are necessary. In elementary school, I didn’t know the importance of studying.I just know playing all day.One day my english teacher told me (that) she thought I was a intelligent boy.I was shocked by what she said.I didn’t do well in my english subject at that time.I was encouraged by what she said.In other words, what she said made me exicted.Since then,I fell in love with English.I started to read some English novels and listen to music. My english teacher taught me patiently and encouraged me to insist on doing these.I was interested in english.I found it was easy to learn english. It does’t like I thought it would be difficult.Maybe I had talent in learning english. However,if I don’t listen to my english teacher.Maybe I would get lost.

Everybody should have confidence in discovering yourselves, although it is a difficult journey. When there is a will, there is a way.

belief in yourself is the secret of successfrom the moment we are born, our destiny had been set. it is the start of our life. as a little child, we go to school and are curious to everything in the world.

when we get older, we tend to understand the function in this start to think, sometimes wonder about life. next thing we know, we are growing up. the world is changing, and our life is changing everyday.

Life is a box of chocolateyou never know what you will get. Forrest Gump made no decision by and for himself but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. The process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings the caution courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles. Take myself as an example I changed my major when I became a postgraduate.

After the choicedays have been harsh for me.I cannot understand the new lessons at all. For they are closely related to mathmatics which I learned nothing about before. However wuth the belief that this is the great chance for me to experience new ideas and challenge myselfI persisted. I asked for help from every channel and reorgonized my life. Gradually I could understand some parts and even found maths interesting. Moreover I learned to act instead of complaining.

In retrospectthe choice left no trace in my mind but the happiness and bitterness of the past four months becomes an unforgetable experience in my life.

What College Education Means to Me

the title of my speech is “what college education means to me”.now reflecting on the past two and half years of my college experience, i come to realize how much it has shaped me.

for me, college education is a marvelous ship-builder who designed me from kneel plates up.

with great vision, college education has equipped me, first with a powerful propeller----the sophisticated knowledge in certain field and wide exposure to other disciplines. by dedicating myself to the engineering courses in the day and immersing myself in the rich banquet of the world literature at night, i’ve amassed the driving force for the future and enriched my soul.

besides, college education has also provided me with a precise compass----the sense of social responsibility. how can i best serve the interest of the public while achieving my self-fulfillment? my one year’s experience as a part-time english teacher has testified: to be valuable to society as well as to find my place, i have to possess some actual strength and the ability to function well in the most challenging situation. amid the hectic schedule that balances club activities, sports, and academic courses, i feel the rhythm and beauty in the intensity of my high-pitched life, knowing that i ’m on the right way.

and more importantly, college education has set up not only single ships, but also fleets with common destinations. by interacting with friends of common beliefs, i’ve acquired skills of relating to other people.

now ,as a ship about to make my maiden voyage ,i’m still not in the position to tell what’s waiting ahead of me ,but with a powerful propeller, a precise compass and ardent companions of sailing in the sea of society, i’m ready to be a great sea-explorer.

        thank you.

early morning, flying willow lake, there is the sound of reading aloud in order to improve the standard of english students to study; night, self-study room, there are efforts to learn from the students of knowledge nectar; holidays, there is the social practice in order to enhance their ability or to reduce the burden on parents busy doing the hard work part-time students. in these process, the dream will be merciless to disturb alarm clock, will their brains to think independently to endure loneliness, even in difficult working environment, the boss suffered criticism and blame. but more the joy, because the same too hard work, hard work is the sweet taste of fruits. however, there are around us, such as students, some classroom pour over and sleep all day nothing to harvest; some in the restaurant to buy a lot of meals, but eat a small portion of the remaining one upside down, ignoring the labor of the peasants; some self-righteous naive, rather than to tough place to sharpen. perhaps because young people are alwaysleading the consumer the latest market trends, and some students will not be a reasonable, moderate, planned consumption, the formation of blind comparisons, pathological consumption, blind rush tide, resulting in two to three months of living e_penses for one semester will be nothing left flowers, or to the surrounding classmates for help, or to the parents of thousands of miles in hue.

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so longas it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courag

When I was fifteen, I announced to my English class that I was going to write and illustrate my own books. Half the students sneered, the rest nearly fell out of their chairs laughing. “Don’t be silly, only geniuses can become writers,” the English teacher said smugly, “And you are getting a D this semester.” I was so humiliated I burst into tears.

That night I wrote a short sad poem about broken dreams and mailed it to the Capri’s Weekly newspaper. To my astonishment, they published it and sent me two dollars. I was a published and paid writer. I showed my teacher and fellow students. They laughed. “Just plain dumb luck,” the teacher said. I tasted success. I’d sold the first thing I’d ever written. That was more than any of them had done and if it was just dumb luck, that was fine with me.

During the next two years I sold dozens of poems, letters, jokes and recipes. By the time I graduated from high school, with a C minus average, I had scrapbooks filled with my published work. I never mentioned my writing to my teachers, friends or my family again. They were dream killers and if people must choose between their friends and their dreams, they must always choose their dreams.

I had four children at the time, and the oldest was only four. While the children napped, I typed on my ancient typewriter. I wrote what I felt. It took nine months, just like a baby. I chose a publisher at random and put the manuscript in an empty Pampers diapers package, the only box I could find. I’d never heard of manuscript boxes. The letter I enclosed read, “I wrote this book myself, I hope you like it. I also do the illustrations. Chapter six and twelve are my favourites. Thank you.” I tied a string around the diaper box and mailed it without a self addressed stamped envelope and without making a copy of the manuscript.

A month later I received a contract, an advance on royalties, and a request to start working on another book. Crying Wind, the title of my book, became a best seller, was translated into fifteen languages and Braille and sold worldwide. I appeared on TV talk shows during the day and changed diapers at night. I traveled from New York to California and Canada on promotional tours. My first book also became required reading in native American schools in Canada.

        the mirror and i

        我和鏡子

i like to look into the mirror. i remember when i was a little girl, i often stood on my toes, trying to find my face in the mirror of the dressing table, which was nearly as high as i was. now i still like to look into the mirror. only now, the dressing table is too low for me. as i bend down, i see the face of a young woman, glowing with maturity, confident in her future and fascinated with her own reflection.

the fact that i like to look into the mirror has to do with my granny with whom i spent most of my childhood. i remember clearly that one night i heard her murmuring, "women can"t be seen. women can"t be seen." i was so confused as to look into the mirror the next morning to check if i could indeed see myself. only now as a young woman myself, can i understand that it was not physical visibility that granny had on her mind.

granny spent all her life taking care of the family, day in and day out. she cooked for her husband and 10 children. but whenever guests came, she and other female family members had to eat by the stove in the small kitchen. at family discussions, she was never asked for her opinion. after grandpa passed away, she had to listen to my uncle, her eldest son, fulfilled her duty as daughter, wife, and mother; yet as a person, she remained little noticed. even though she could see herself in the mirror of the dressing table, she was never visible in the mirror of society.

i have been living a different life. at home, i make decisions together with the rest of the family. in school, i often take charge of various activities the same as other boys and girls. not only that, i can see something granny could not have dreamed of─making decisions for my own future. my life has been a series of decisions. i could choose from several universities as i came out of high school. at university, i could choose from a range of subjects from english literature to business law. and now upon graduation, i am again faced with decisions─to further my study or to go to work; to stay in china or to go abroad; to get married right away or to remain single for a bit longer.

it does not matter whether or not i will become famous or rich, but i will treasure the chance to demonstrate my potential and to help other women demonstrate theirs as full members of society, fully visible in the mirror of history. i will treasure it because the abundance of choice that i enjoy came only after decades of efforts made by my granny, my mum, and millions of other chinese women.

however, the choices to be made by me and others of my generation are a great challenge. the misconception that men are superior to women is still dominating many people"s minds. while men are encouraged to compete and to assert themselves, we are expected to be quiet, loyal and obedient. this is not very different from what is expected of us as good wives and good mothers. the challenge we face calls for a higher level of our personal development and self-determination.

the story of my grandmother and myself mirrors the lives of millions of other women in china and perhaps in the world. many of them still lead the life of my grandmother. their worth is not yet recognized. it is the responsibility of a young person like me to work hard and struggle hard so that they too will see themselves and will be seen in the mirror of society.

this is my dream. this dream, i believe, is not only shared by our grandmothers, mothers and sisters, but also by many of our fathers, brothers, husbands and male colleagues.

it will not come true until everyone fully realizes that women can contribute to society and should be guaranteed the right to do so. women hold up half the sky.

      Dears,

        Good morning all!

Time, was a strange thing, it makes all sickness and death. When there is something born of time, from that moment the beginning of time has passed. How to we do? We can only seize the opportunity to seize life, to do the masters of their own destiny.

I have thought about a problem, what is time? I think that time is of the mind in life when the runway, and it is responsible for the pletion of a mission of a subdivision.

Can not recover the past, the past is a good time regardless, or painful and have to stay in our memory, our experience has enriched and matured our thinking. Occasionally, the memories, can regulate our emotions, purify our hearts. Has been really obsessed with old things is not desirable because it is more important now.

I read a Soviet writer Nicholas? Alec? Ostrovsky&39;s book "How to Make Steel", I was moved to this section of the article so that impressed me: "Life belongs to the people only once. one&39;s life should be spent this way: when he look back, he does not regret the years wasted, not because of the shame . Thus, in death, he will be able to say : &39;I own a whole life and energies are dedicated to the world&39;s most magnificent cause - the cause of humanity andthe struggle of liberation. " Yes ah life time were more valuable it, especially the juvenile time. From now on, I have to cherish.

I have heard such a story: The pressure in the rubble and stones following a grass, it is a longing for the sun to reach it the will of Health, no matter how heavy stones above, between the rocks and stones How to narrow the gap, it always twists and turns, the tough and up through to the ground. Its root to the soil under the long shoots to the ground it stands, this is an irresistible force of life, to prevent its stones were thrown to the. Xiaocaohu a vitality so great that people can not help but sigh.

Yes ah, life will be like this, like the grass, no matter what circumstances, are making progress will never bow, the only way of life is the best, the most meaningful. Time is of the essence, time is gone forever, and we must treasure this good time, study hard, grow up, the effectiveness of the motherland. It is also the so-called "one inch by one inch gold time, gold-inch inch time. Let us cherish the time with it!

      英語的即興演講稿11

Good afternoon, ladies and gentleman! First I want to say is that I’m very proud of to be invited to to present my topic here, which is “ Internet Civilization”.

Before I begin my topic, please allow me to ask you a question: Every time you click the mouse to surf the web, do you know what does it mean?

On the net, you can make friends overseas and call them with IP phones; you can get information from all over the world; you can even give a hand to some people in troubles and get help when in need.

However, we have to admit that internet also leads to intimacy before acquaintance; it scatters secrets outwards, not inwards; and, most worrying of all, it is a vehicle for liars.

Here we should see, there exists good and evil, right and wrong on the web. As netizens, we’d better grow to realize the importance of Internet Civilization.

Just as the famous saying goes “Long and steep is the path to virtue.” Many people advocate that we should be sincere, honest and responsible in our society—the real world. Now, what I want to add is that we also should obey the primary moral principles in this virtual world.

All of my dear friends here, on the internet, which role did you play? Which role are you playing? And which role will you play?

        Thank you very much!

Fashions go in and out. This season for girls and women is a variety of things. First on the list is nautical. For instance, a striped blue and white dress with brass buttons. Next, humongous belts over dresses and things looks fabulous. Always go to the extreme, either get a huge tote bag, or a tiny purse. Stilettos are out, and chunky heels are in. Try to layer your outfits like put a skirt over pants, dresses over jeans, and even try Bermuda shorts over pants. This is useful when a dress gets too short, just stick jeans underneath, and you’ll look great. The Napoleonic style is in. Clothes that would have been worn in Napoleons time: navy coats with gold trimmings and brass buttons.

If you are going to wear your everyday clothes, like pants and a t-shirt, be very careful to wear what matches your look. If you have red hair, unless it is Valentine’s Day,

        Additional Details

avoid anything related to red such as pink. You will look like a walking valentine.

Aside from matching you, your clothes must match each other. If you wanted to wear a pink shirt with white on it, an adorable choice for a sweater would be a white jacket. Suppose, you wore a white shirt with pink on it, you shouldn’t wear the white sweater. Instead, wear a pink sweater. Also, if you wear this shirt and wanted to wear a headband that was pink but a slightly different shade of pink with it- that is a fashion don’t. Never wear denim on denim. That is to wear a denim jacket with a denim skirt or jeans. Especially if the denim is two different shades. You may think similarity is a good thing, but in some cases its not. Dark green with light green is fine-light blue with dark blue is fine too. But, they must be correct shades. A pink with a slight orange tinge is not good with plain pink. Never wear brown and black together. Black looks good with lots of things-just not brown.

        Be in touch

with your seasons and holidays. Unless it is the Fourth of July, or some patriotic holiday, avoid wearing red, white, and blue. Unless it is around Christmas time, don’t wear red and green. During winter, light blue looks good, and so does white and beige. During spring, green, yellow and cheerful colors look best. Fall is the time for solemn colors like dark red, brown, and black. Summer is the cheery red, orange and plain cool and crisp white.

Types of clothes are also important. A long-sleeved shirt with shorts is never ok, but a short-sleeved shirt with shorts or pants is ok. No socks with sandals even if its toe socks. Clothes are fabulous things for girls to fuss over and spend hours deciding what to wear. Let’s try our best to make them look great.

Have you ever watched the famous cartoon"Happy sheep and gray wolf",which captures the hearts of millions of kids and even teenagers.

I'm sure you can't forget the vivid character---Red Wolf, which is a snippy, violent and hot-tempered wife with her symbolic action:throw a pan to her husband and shout out " go and catch the sheep! or never come back".In fact, this is a truly reflection that female are gradually dominating the society.Girls are the bosses.

According to a report by CNN in 20xx,women in the US earned 59 percent of all college degrees, surpassing men by almost 3 to 2.while in 1970,41 years ago,men earned that percentage of all college degrees.Similarly, in China,it's estimated that female college students surpassed male students in numbers on campus for the first time in history in 20xx,which accounts for 51%.Although we,the students in WHUT,can't feel it,because the majority here are males. But think about the fact that, the female ratio of freshmen in Huazhong Normal University this year is 70%.So next time, when you're free, why not go to Huazhong Normal University, just walk around the campus, and you will enjoy a different scenery.

Back to our topic, Gu haibing, professor in the School of Econmics at Renmin University of China, attributes this to the education system. He says girls gain the edge with their better discipline and memory-based studying method "However , a gender imbalance on campus caused by female students outperforming their male counterparts reflects a global trend.

The 20xx Olympics have been hailed as the "Year of the women",according to Time magazine, because 58 of the US team 103 medals were won by women and for the first time Muslim women from Saudi-Arabia,Qatar and Brunei ere allowed to compete in the event.

Furthermore,as we have known, Madame Curie is one of the greatest scientists around the world, and she is a woman;"Iron lady "Margaret thatcher is the one of the most prominent politician, and she is a woman; Oprah Winfrey is the household hostess of talk show, and she is a woman. And examples like this can be taken endlessly as you want.

So here ,the men compatriot, watch out,we are fallen behind!

I don't think so. printed books won't be abandoned in such a short time. I admit that new technology is developing fast. Many advanced electronic products are gradually take the place of traditional tools. Just like in university, teachers like to use multimedia in class for it is quite convenient and efficient. However, for our student, it is not realistic to study completely by electronic products.

There are many things need to recorded on books. Books are something meaningful and practical. I should say, in our country, printed books wouldn't be abandoned within 20 years at least for two reasons. Firstly, books are classical container of knowledge. They accompany human to advance. A student without books could be someway ridiculous.

Secondly, our country haven't developed so strong to make every student study by computer or other forms of electronic tools. And even after 20 years, the possibility is also very small. I also think it is unnecessary because books are cheap but useful and still meaningful.

Where There is Life, There is Music

What is music, no one can explain.

Just imagine for a moment that you are sitting in a magnificent concert hall. The conductor waves his shiny baton with a graceful swing through the air. A beautiful melody floats slowly around you

You sit quietly with your eyes shut, your heart open. The delicate vibratos of the violins carry you to a mood of heavenly bliss. An airy solo of the flute draws you to the imagination, the notes flow like some jumping swallows dancing and singing calling for the coming of Spring.

I like music from my childhood. My father often says when I was a baby I would never go to sleep without soft, beautiful lullabies crooning around my ears . Now music is a part of my life. When I feel tired, disappointed or in low spirits, I usually turn to music. Music, nothing but only music can have so wonderful an effect on my heart, on my pond of feeling.

Music comes with us. Where there is life, there is music. Where there is music, there is hope. It lies in everyday life, in everyone’s life, in everything we see, in everything we hear-- in the rhythm of the sea, in the whisper of a gentle wind, in the melody of a bird’s singing, in the harmony of village chimes. You can hear music wherever you may go . A man who doesn’t know music will lose half the world. A nation that pays little or no attention to music will be a sad nation. A world without music would be the one for the dead and devils.

So dear friends, let’s open our arms to embrace music and enjoy it throughout our lives. Love music and love life.

        Thank you.
